Former projects

  • Adaptive fem-bem coupling for electromagnetic problems in three dimensions. This includes two finished PhD-theses and a BMBF project.
  • FE/BE coupling for time-dependent interface problems in electromagnetics
  • Coupling of boundary elements and finite elements for incremental forming methods (Kopplung von Randelementen und Finiten Elementen für Inkrementelle Umformverfahren) (2003-2005), DFG-project STE 573/5-1 (1 researcher financed, 2 years) within the SPP 1146 "Modelling of incremental forming methods" ("Modellierung inkrementeller Umformverfahren").
  • Domain decomposition / multilievel methods for BEM / FEM.
