This conference is in honor of Prof. Marc C. Steinbach 60th birthday, where we want to celebrate Marcs various contributions to the international academic community as well as industry and business. For almost two decades Marc has been a teacher, supervisor, and an ongoing driving force behind the development of optimization and applied mathematics in Hannover. We seek to bring together academic fellows and companions of Marc, whose (research-) interests engage with the various works of Prof. Marc C. Steinbach.
The invited speakers will present a broad range of Marc’s interests.

If you would like to participate, a registration is required. In order to registrate please write an email to cacao@conference.uni-hannover.de with your full name and affiliations. The deadline for registration is the 26th of May 2023 and the deadline for abstract submission is 31st of July 2023. If you are interested in giving a talk, please write an additional email with the title and a short abstract to cacao@conference.uni-hannover.de.

Location: All conference rooms are located in the main building (Welfenschloss) Both registration and reception will take place in front of F335 while the talks will be given in B305.
How to get there (map): Arriving at the Central Station (Hannover Hauptbahnhof), you can either take one of the subways 1 (direction Sarstedt or Laatzen), 2(direction Peiner Straße), 3 (direction Wettbergen), 7 (direction Wettbergen), 8 (direction Messe/Nord) and 9 (direction Empelde) and travel to the next station “Kröpcke” or you can just walk (350m) from the Central Station to the station Kröpcke (route). From there on, you can take either subway 4 (direction Garbsen) or 5 (direction Stöcken) and travel until the stop "Leibniz Universität".
